How it earned its miles
This Land Cruiser began life as a company-president daily driver. After the president retired, John bought it and put it to work on the Jupiter → Coconut Creek commute.
On a drive home from Orlando to South Florida after a business meeting, the engine seized. It was towed to Earl Stewart Toyota. John opted not to repair it immediately, stored it covered for several years, and drove something else day to day.
Shop records confirm the seize condition and reman engine work when he brought it back: Earl Stewart Toyota, July 9, 2020, at 268,722 miles (“engine seized will not turn over”), with a reman engine prepaid July 20, 2020 and install completed that summer. CARFAX shows the odometer essentially frozen from April 2016 (~268,722) until that 2020 repair — consistent with multi-year storage.
Years later — as his daughter approached high school graduation — John restored it as his daily driver again. He drove it for several more years until his son reached driving age.
October 2025: handed to his son for the school commute.
November 2025: carpet replaced; second-row seat reupholstered.
Christmas 2025: son painted the vehicle and added custom rims.
September 2026: son received a new car for his birthday.
The family is now selling the Land Cruiser to find it a good home.
Today it runs very well — daily-driver quality, South Florida private party.
