How it earned its miles
This Land Cruiser started as a company president’s daily driver. After that president retired, it was purchased by another member of the company executive team and settled into a South Florida commute between Jupiter and Coconut Creek.
After 268,000 miles, on the drive home from Orlando after a business meeting, the engine seized on the Florida Turnpike. The truck was towed to Earl Stewart Toyota in Lake Park, FL. Rather than repair it then, the owner stored it covered in a warehouse for several years and used another vehicle as a daily driver.
Shop records pick the story back up in July 2020. Earl Stewart Toyota documented an engine that would not turn over at 268,722 miles. A remanufactured engine was prepaid and installed that summer. CARFAX shows the odometer essentially unchanged from April 2016 until that repair — consistent with the warehouse years.
Later, as a daughter approached high school graduation Dad gave up his car and the Land Cruiser was brought back as his daily driver for the daily commute. It stayed in that role for several more years, until a son reached driving age.
In October 2025 the truck was handed over for a school commute. That November the interior was refreshed with new carpet and the second-row seat reupholstered. The Multi-Display in the dash was also replaced with an OEM display and integrated with an aftermarket Grom Audio Vline unit for Apple CarPlay and Android connectivity, all speakers were replaced, and an enhanced subwoofer was installed. As a Christmas gift in 2025, the son was allowed to paint the vehicle a new Toyota “Army Green” color and fit with new custom rims. In September 2026 the son received a new car for his birthday, and the family is now looking for a good home for the Land Cruiser.
Today it runs very well — still daily-driver quality, offered as a South Florida private sale.
